American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Pool - Nights position at a regional medical center in Santa Fe, NM, requiring a NM or compact RN license, BLS, and ACLS.

Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract

Assignment is in a hospital Nursing Float Pool, requiring rotation across multiple units

Weekend availability required
-
On-call requirement applies
-
Floating to various units is required
-
EMR: Epic (experience required)

Active NM RN license or current compact state RN license
-
Current BLS certification (AHA)
-
Current ACLS certification (AHA)

Additional certifications may be required depending on the units floated to

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served

US Social Security Number required for consideration

Performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and implements timely interventions based on patient needs
-
Coordinates team assignments and delegates patient care tasks appropriately, following up on quality and completeness

Participates in patient and family education as well as discharge planning
-
Performs Point of Care testing procedures

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted on all positions
