New Beginning Homes is looking for a Direct Care Worker to work with one of our adolescent members in the home Mon-Thursday 1pm-11pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Behavioral Support to a single adolescent member
- Provide direct patient care in a group home setting for this member
- Communicate with Nurse and co-workers about changes in patient's condition including vital signs, behavioral and physical symptoms.
- Able to respond to changes in patients behavioral status
- Keep members routine schedule such as medications and appointments.
- Transport member to and from appointments
- Accurately document observed behavior
Schedule:
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Drivers license (If applicable)
Training Certifications Needed:
*If hired for the position, group home will pay to have these trainings done.
- Article 9
- Prevention and Support
- CPR and First Aid
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
