We are a compassionate, results-driven behavioral health organization providing residential and outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. We're looking for an experienced Admissions Coordinator/Intake Coordinator who combines clinical knowledge with confident phone sales skills to guide prospective clients and families through the admissions process — from first call to first day of treatment.
What you'll do:
- Manage high volume of inbound and outbound inquiry calls with empathy, urgency, and professionalism
- Conduct clinical pre-screenings to assess appropriateness for residential or outpatient levels of care
- Guide clients and families through the admissions process, addressing concerns and building trust from first contact
- Verify insurance benefits, explain coverage options, and coordinate financial arrangements
- Meet and exceed monthly admissions conversion targets
- Maintain accurate intake records and documentation in the EHR system
- Collaborate with clinical, utilization review, and business development teams for smooth transitions
- Follow up with pending inquiries and maintain a warm, organized pipeline of prospective clients
- Conduct outreach calls to alumni/graduates of the program
Requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related behavioral health field
- Minimum 2 years in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment settings
- Demonstrated experience converting inbound inquiries with measurable results in a healthcare or treatment setting
- Solid understanding of residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient treatment modalities
- Familiarity with behavioral health benefit verification and managed care processes

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
