Experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager position that could blend work-from-home with office work and possible local travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate would be someone who will be capable of handling fairly complex and even multi-state accounts that a retiring team member currently manages. This would have to be someone with decent C/L experience who could participate in Teams meetings as well as training on our systems, etc. IDEALLY they should be somewhere in the Pittsburgh or W. PA region because there are times that client visits with Engineers, Safety Pros, Claims people, Underwriters, etc. are appropriate. The chief role of this person would not be New Business development or Production and it would involve a base salary plus N.B. Commission and great benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring clients receive comprehensive coverage aligned with their business needs.
- Incentive for cross-sale and outside sales efforts to identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships
- Negotiate policy terms, coverage options, and pricing with clients and underwriters to secure optimal solutions. Wide range of Agency and Brokerage relationships plus support of Keystone Insurers Group
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and offering ongoing support.
- Perform sales administration tasks including policy processing, documentation management, and benefits administration for clients.
- Analyze client risk profiles using analysis skills to recommend appropriate coverage options and identify potential gaps or exposures.
- Collaborate with internal teams on marketing initiatives and telemarketing campaigns to promote insurance products effectively across diverse channels.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA where applicable, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Skills
- Depth of experience in Commercial Lines Property / Casualy setting
- Strong negotiation skills to facilitate favorable policy terms for clients while maintaining profitability for the company.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform detailed analysis of client needs and risks to recommend tailored insurance solutions confidently.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to client relationship management.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
