Overview
We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in glass installation and a strong understanding of construction practices. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Install and replace glass in windows, doors, and other structures.
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions.
- Assemble frames and install metal studs as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuver large sheets of glass safely..
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in glass installation techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently.
- Knowledge of metal stud framing and building practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on the construction site.
