We're currently looking for a Seasonal CDL Driver who holds a Class A or B license for our posted location. If you don't currently hold a CDL but are able to obtain a Farm Service CDL, we can discuss that option with you.

Seasonal CDL Drivers are responsible for operating tractor-trailer/tandem equipment and maintaining it properly to transport material to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Work hours vary depending on workload, including nights and weekends during peak season

Safely operate a Class A/B truck to transport material to job sites, often on uneven or unfinished surfaces

Climb up to 15 feet on ladders attached to the truck or fertilizer tank

Lift up to 50 or 60 pounds as needed on uneven surfaces

Perform daily maintenance of equipment, including cleaning the truck inside and out

Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment on the road and in the yard

Tarp loads when needed and verify gates are closed

Clean spilled material and buildup off the box

Perform general labor duties as assigned during slower points in the season

Communicate effectively — verbal, listening, and written

Read maps and navigate to new locations

Work with minimum supervision, recognizing matters needing attention and initiating action

Provide delivery service in line with established delivery standards

Interact professionally with customers and managers

Observe speed limits and obey D.O.T. regulations

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of vehicle inspections, mileage, and deliveries using Samsara software
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this role, you'll regularly use your hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. You'll frequently be required to stand, talk, walk, and hear. The environment includes:

Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders

Outdoor work on uneven or unfinished surfaces in varying weather conditions

Variable hours including nights and weekends during peak season
- High school diploma or equivalent

Valid CDL Class A or B, or willingness to obtain a Farm Service CDL

Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Must possess or be able to obtain a Federal Medical Card
