Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when applicable
- Transport items efficiently using box trucks or other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions or automatic options
- Assist customers with packing, unpacking, and organizing belongings to ensure secure transportation
- Follow designated routes for delivery and pickup, adhering to schedule and safety regulations
- Operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks to move heavy or bulky items within warehouses or loading zones
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by securing loads properly and ensuring all items are handled with care
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors to coordinate tasks effectively
Qualifications
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day and perform manual labor safely
- Familiarity with driving manual transmission vehicles and route driving procedures
- Experience using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or courier tools is advantageous
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work efficiently in a team environment
