Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Equipment Technician to service a variety of commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of diagnosing and repairing both hot and cold-side kitchen appliances.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, steamers, refrigeration units, dishwashers, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance on hot-side and cold-side equipment
- Install and start up new equipment by the manufacturer's specifications
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Complete accurate service reports and maintain parts inventory
- Always adhere to safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair (or equivalent training)
- Strong knowledge of gas, electric, and refrigeration systems
- EPA 608 Certification (for refrigeration work)
- CFESA certification is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
