Must have insurance on Vehicle. Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food service for various events, ensuring that all aspects of catering operations run smoothly. This position requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to manage logistics effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver food items for events, ensuring timely service and adherence to safety standards.
- Set up and break down catering stations, including arranging tables, chairs, and serving equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with inventory management, including loading and unloading supplies from delivery vehicles.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to move equipment and supplies during setup and breakdown.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering area before, during, and after events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of catering services.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients and guests.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred for effective inventory management.
- Valid commercial driving experience is a plus; familiarity with driving box trucks is essential.
- Experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks; manual transmission driving experience is beneficial.
