Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing attentive service to our guests.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high standards of food safety.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Uphold all restaurant policies regarding health, safety, and hygiene.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- A passion for culinary arts and guest services will enhance your success in this role.
