Our client is seeking an experienced Production Line Operator to oversee automated filling and packaging operations in our food manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for candidates with experience operating automated production equipment, leading small teams, and maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated filling and packaging lines
- Set up and run production batches according to recipes and packaging specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and machine issues
- Ensure production targets and efficiency goals are achieved
- Lead and coordinate a crew of 2-4 production employees
- Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) to verify product quality standards
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
- Complete production documentation accurately
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Production Operator, Machine Operator, Packaging Operator, Filling Operator, or Manufacturing Operator
- Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a small production team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Food manufacturing experience
- Experience with filling machines, packaging equipment, conveyors, or automated production systems
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Experience working with QA/QC procedures
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement exposure
