Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated NJ Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), LMFTs, and LPC’s to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical counseling services via Telehealth to the senior population. Your expertise will help these clients navigate mental health challenges, life-transitions, issues pertaining to loss and grieving, through evidence-based therapies and personalized care plans. You will play a key role in promoting emotional well-being, resilience, and recovery within our community. This position is a contracted 1099, and offers weekly supervision, along with an engaging environment where your skills in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management will directly impact lives while supporting your professional growth. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide individual sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and supportive counseling.
- Facilitate processes by documenting clinical notes in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate psychopharmacology collaboration when appropriate and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
- Engage in case management activities including patient care coordination, community resource linkage, and follow-up to support ongoing recovery efforts.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using CPT coding standards for billing purposes while adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LPC, LMFT, or equivalent license in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes; experience with medical records management is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding standards for billing processes.
- Strong skills in crisis management, patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, case management, and social work practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward client-centered care; sensitivity working with diverse populations including those with PTSD or Alzheimer’s disease.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations; proficient in medical documentation standards. Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
