Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Clinical Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in crisis management, clinical counseling, and diagnostic assessment, with a focus on providing support to individuals and couples in need. This role requires a commitment to helping clients navigate their challenges while promoting their well-being through effective interventions and support services.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy for a minimum of 15 clients per week and attend weekly supervision with an LCSW
- Work with clients from a variety of ages and background
- Log session notes using Therapy Notes
- Clinically diagnose clients and conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Utilize clinical counseling techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collect and maintain assessments related to client progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
- Carry malpractice insurance
- Active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences with as an Associate Clinical Social Worker
- Proven experience in case management, crisis intervention, and clinical counseling is essential.
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques and psychotherapy practices is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of DSM-V and diagnostic techniques
- Strong data collection skills with attention to detail are necessary for maintaining client records.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
