Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and nurturing care to children and individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Ensure the safety of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for young children
- Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and emotional development
- Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play while following health guidelines
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Prior childcare experience including babysitting, nannying, daycare work or classroom experience in early childhood education settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific activity planning skills
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred
- Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively and foster a nurturing environment
- Experience working with children across different age groups including infants, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
