Teacher Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
- Use the school's provided curriculum and lesson plans to create a joyful classroom experience that supports each child's academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development.
- Maintain active supervision of children and accurate attendance records in accordance with Texas licensing standards.
- Build positive relationships with children and communicate warmly and professionally with families.
- Complete accurate daily classroom documentation using Procare.

Classroom Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Assist children with meals, toileting or diapering, handwashing, nap time, and daily routines according to licensing requirements and school policies.
- Prepare the classroom for the following day by cleaning, sanitizing, organizing materials, and ensuring the classroom is ready for the next day's learning.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts, meetings, trainings, and school events.
- Participate in required training and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all children, families, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the school's mission.
