Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Service and Dispatch Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating technician schedules, dispatching service calls, and providing hands-on support in the field as needed.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians to service, installation, or maintenance jobs.
- Answer calls, take service requests, and provide job updates.
- Communicate clearly with technicians about job details and customer needs.
- Assist with basic field work when needed, such as checking systems or simple troubleshooting.
- Create and manage work orders, update job statuses, and enter service details in QuickBooks.
- Handle invoicing from other departments, ensuring all charges are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the service manager and team to keep daily operations organized and efficient.
Requirements
- Prior experience in dispatching, customer service or administrative support is preferred
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques or hands-on experience in a field service role is an advantage.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working both in the office and occasionally in the field
- Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license required
