Job Summary

Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree or Bachelor's degree
- State teaching certification or CDA (preferred, if applicable)
- Experience working with toddlers, or preschool-aged children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for nurturing children's growth and development
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and fellow educators
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and active learning.
- Manage daily classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and child welfare practices to ensure a safe and supportive setting.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or special education needs.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor individual student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Apply knowledge of mandated reporting laws to identify and report any signs of child abuse or neglect promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate early intervention strategies and support diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, assessments, and incident reports in compliance with licensing requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and child development instruction.
- Prior experience with special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with childhood development milestones, standardized testing procedures, and preschool teaching methodologies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Experience working in private schools or similar educational environments is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
