Boones Creek Pharmacy is a growing, innovative independent pharmacy looking for an experienced CPhT to join our team full-time. We are not a typical retail pharmacy. We continually invest in technology, automation, medication packaging, and new services to improve the way we care for our patients.
Experience With Multi-Dose Packaging? We Want to Hear From You!
Experience with multi-dose medication packaging, compliance packaging, blister packs, pill packs, or robotic medication packaging is highly preferred. While experience is preferred, the only requirement is a willingness to learn and develop.
We use a robotic pill-packaging system, and the right candidate will have the opportunity to become an important part of our packaging operation.
What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Process prescriptions and accurately fill medications
- Operate our robotic pill-packaging system
- Prepare and manage multi-dose medication packs
- Communicate with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
- Help patients identify opportunities to save money on their medications
- Manage inventory and assist with medication ordering
- Perform non-sterile compounding, including hazardous and non-hazardous preparations
- Occasionally assist with front-end point-of-sale duties
- Learn and implement new technology and pharmacy processes
- Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as you develop
- Help identify ways we can improve efficiency and patient care

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License – Required
- PTCB Certification – Required
- Strong foundation in pharmacy technician skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Willingness to learn new technology and processes
Multi-dose medication packaging, compliance packaging, or robotic pill-packaging experience is a strong plus.
