The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics and operations while being part of a growing, supportive team. At Foodja, dispatchers have opportunities to level up into Senior Dispatcher and Lead roles as they grow their skills and performance.
The Dispatch Associate is responsible for developing routes and maintaining communication with delivery partners to ensure orders are delivered within the client’s delivery window. You’ll use multiple systems to monitor and manage orders in real time, all while building strong relationships with drivers, teammates, and clients.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring sudden route changes and partnering with drivers to adjust plans for on-time delivery
- Answering calls and texts from drivers and providing real-time support
- Making proactive outreach to prevent delays and resolve issues before they arise
- Escalating service issues to leadership when needed
- Collaborating with a team that values accountability, communication, and results
The Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities
- Comfort working across multiple systems simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Compensation
Estimated total monthly earnings are approximately $3,700, depending on performance and hours worked. This role is comprised of a base pay of $18.50/hour, plus a monthly bonus program currently averaging $500+ per month.
