The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a joyful, structured, developmentally responsive classroom in which students build strong foundational skills while learning how to participate in a caring and collaborative community. The teacher provides high-quality instruction across core content areas, differentiates learning to meet a wide range of student needs, and works closely with educational assistants, specialists, families, and colleagues to ensure every student experiences meaningful growth.
This is a highly collaborative role for an educator who values strong academics and whole-child development and who is excited to contribute to BIS’s globally focused, multilingual, project-based learning environment.
Bend International School (BIS) is a public K–8 charter school committed to empowering youth as global citizens with choice-filled futures.
