As a Security Officer for Truck Gate Access in San Pedro, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Support traffic flow at gates, docks, and other controlled areas by directing arrivals, communicating site access requirements, and maintaining orderly movement throughout the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to identify potential security-related issues.
Minimum Requirements:

At least 21 years of age is required.

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
