HVAC Project Manager
Location: Greater Boston
Salary: $130,000–$150,000 + Benefits
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical contractor in the Greater Boston area with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality commercial HVAC and mechanical projects.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they’re looking to add an experienced HVAC Project Manager to their team.
In this role, you’ll manage commercial mechanical projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage multiple commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from start to finish.
· Coordinate project schedules, budgets, procurement, manpower, and resources.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
· Collaborate with estimators, engineers, superintendents, and field teams.
· Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
· Monitor project costs, change orders, and overall financial performance.
· Ensure projects comply with safety regulations, specifications, and contract requirements.
· Attend project and site meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
· Identify and resolve project issues proactively to keep work on track.
Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical construction projects.
· Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems.
· Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
· Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
· Experience working with construction management software is preferred.
