Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit or order process
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately
- Assist guests with menu selections.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained during food handling, serving, and take-out packaging
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery for dine-in or take-out orders
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, bus tables when needed, and uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions and product knowledge
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours while providing excellent guest relations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or fast-paced settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and inventory management
- Prior experience in take-out or delivery service roles is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
