Employee Engagement AssistantPosition Summary
Do you enjoy bringing people together, planning fun activities, and helping create a positive workplace? We're looking for an enthusiastic Employee Engagement Assistant to support our employee engagement and internal communications efforts.
In this role, you'll help coordinate employee events, create engaging content for our monthly newsletter, organize contests and recognition programs, and assist with activities that promote a welcoming, connected workplace. This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, organized, and enjoys making a difference in the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with creating and distributing the monthly employee newsletter.
- Gather content for employee spotlights, company updates, birthdays, anniversaries, and other announcements.
- Help plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, including contests, appreciation events, and holiday celebrations.
- Support employee recognition programs by tracking milestones and preparing recognition materials.
- Create flyers, posters, and digital communications for company events.
- Assist with decorating the office for holidays, celebrations, and special occasions.
- Order and organize supplies for employee events and engagement activities.
- Maintain the employee engagement calendar and assist with scheduling activities.
- Collect employee feedback and suggest new ideas to improve workplace engagement.
- Perform other administrative and engagement-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Creative, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Experience with Canva or similar design software is a plus.
- Previous administrative, customer service, or event planning experience is preferred but not required.
