Established strategic marketing agency has immediate need for a Part-time Social Media Marketing Specialist (12-20 hours/week) with proven experience developing and maintaining organic and paid social media campaigns at the agency level.
The Social Media Specialist is a talented creator/writer/communicator who will provide social media marketing support for a variety of B2C and B2B clients. The ideal candidate must be able to think strategically, manage time and priorities, and possess a strong understanding of the role of social media in today’s marketing mix. Working with internal staff, the Social Media Specialist will develop and implement plans to drive engagement, build reputation, and generate awareness/leads/sales for a diverse roster of clients.

As such, only candidates in the CT/MA/NY Metro area are currently being considered for this role.

REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience with social media channels (Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, etc.) as well as social management platforms (ex. HootSuite, Sprout)
- Hands-on experience developing and implementing organic and paid social media programs for businesses – from planning, all the way through to execution and reporting.
- Manage program development from definition through delivery; this will include identifying key measures of success.
- Serve as primary content developer for client social media channels.
- Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly editorial schedules outlining strategic social media plans for clients.
- Ensure integration of social media efforts into overall marketing mix for clients.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, English or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience (agency experience preferred)
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently, under deadline

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
