Position Overview:
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Prep Cook, Line Cook, Kitchen Expo and Busser to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and passionate about food preparation. As an employee at BOSK, you’ll support both the restaurant and ghost kitchen operations by ensuring all ingredients are properly prepared, labeled, and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and production schedules
- Wash, chop, and store vegetables, meats, and other food items
- Assist chefs and line cooks with meal preparation during busy service hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, storage, and walk-ins
- Label, date, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Support both in-house and ghost kitchen production needs
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience preferred (restaurant or catering/ghost kitchen experience a plus)
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and prep lists with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- ServSafe certification is a plus
