- Off Saturday - Tuesday (4 days)
- Work Wednesday - Tuesday (7 days) 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM (3rd shift)
- Off Wednesday - Thursday (2 days)
- Work Friday - Thursday (7 days) 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM (2nd shift)
- Off Friday (1 day)
- Repeat schedule

What’s the job?
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Handy Person is responsible for the following:
Safety, Housekeeping & Quality
- Wear all personal protective equipment (PPE): safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, and hard hat as required by the company
- Maintain a safe and clean work area as established by the company
- Comply with all safety requirements as established by the company
Start of Shift
- Meet with Shift Manager at beginning of the shift to cover “game plan” as assigned. Tasks are assigned by Shift Manager by seniority
- Check all batt modules to ensure bags are presentable and properly sealed, bags and piece count are correct, the general area is clean. Audit batt modules for cycle time and operations (maintenance, build-up, etc.) and report any anomalies appropriately
- Check for proper labels and date coding. Audit equipment for proper operations (Roll cuts, maintenance, build-up, etc.) and report any malfunctions appropriately
- Perform cleaning tasks as assigned
Label Application
- Apply industrial roll labels straight and square with the bag and with the top of the label nearest the open end of the industrial bag
- Apply bag labels straight and square with the end of the bag. Do not reapply labels over old labels.
Other
- All other duties as assigned by management within the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)

- High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
- Punctuality and reliable attendance
- Ability to follow and comply with company safety protocols and plant rules
- Availability to work 8–12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Industrial manufacturing / Warehouse experience (Preferred)
- Union experience (Preferred)
