Responsibilities
- Erect and assemble metal building frameworks, including steel framing, siding, roofing, and insulation.
- Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely to install metal framing, and related structural elements.
- Conduct dimensional measurements and layout work to ensure precise placement of building components.
Experience
- Proven experience in metal building erection or related construction roles involving steel framing or structural assembly.
- Familiarity with interpreting construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings is essential.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and measuring devices.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Prior experience working on construction sites with diverse trades such as carpentry, masonry, welding, or restoration projects will be advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical schematics for efficient project execution.
