We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk, duties include:
· Receive and apply payments on domestic and international customer accounts same day as received, and non-A/R cash
· Investigate, resolve and respond to customer questions, including customer freight claim losses, adjust charges if necessary
· Work through customer issues regarding shipping, pricing, or rebates; issue credits
· Process verified customer credits for periodic rebates, promotions or co-op advertising
· Analyze returns and allowances, incorrect billing, prepare and enter credit memos
· Maintain daily cash control sheet
· Add, delete or change A/R information on data base to maintain accurate account records
· Assist with collection of delinquent accounts
· Act as primary A/P backup
· Annually update uniform sales & use tax exemption/resale certificates, update databases
· Prepare annual fall and year end audit work papers, as assigned
· Cooperate with others in department and throughout company
· Maintain confidentiality of business operation, trade secrets, compensation or other business or personnel information
Requirements & skills:
· Technical college or AS degree plus 5+ years experience
· Familiarity with accounting principles, debits and credits, account reconciliation
· Computer skills like MS Office & ERP experience
· Excellent communication/negotiation skills and ability to communicate to vendors, customers and co-workers with patience, courtesy and urgency to achieve objectives
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Base pay: $21.32 – 28.51/hour

This position offers a competitive salary, paid weekly, with compensation based on experience and qualifications. The base pay range for this position is provided below in accordance with Minnesota law. Final compensation will be based on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity. This range reflects the expected starting pay for the role.
