Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Buyer for a direct hire opportunity in Camuy, PR. This role supports purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory planning for a manufacturing operation where timely material availability is essential to production success.
The Junior Buyer will work closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and other internal teams to help prevent shortages, manage purchase orders, and support smooth day-to-day operations. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career procurement or supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration, supportive leadership, and opportunities to build valuable purchasing and inventory management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase raw materials, components, supplies, and services based on production requirements and material demand.
- Create, review, and manage purchase orders for accurate quantities, pricing, delivery dates, and purchasing terms.
- Use ERP/MRP systems to review material requirements, production schedules, inventory levels, and purchasing needs.
- Monitor inventory to help prevent shortages, excess stock, and production delays.
- Communicate with suppliers to support pricing, delivery schedules, order status, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and other departments to resolve material, delivery, and quality-related issues.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $31,200 per year.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 7 am - 4 pm
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: Camuy, PR.
