Priority Caregivers of Atlanta is seeking a warm, dependable Companion & Caregiver to support clients with daily living, household upkeep, and meaningful companionship. This role is a great fit for someone who takes real pride in a well-cared-for home and genuinely enjoys building relationships with the people they support — including elderly clients as well as adult and pediatric clients who are medically fragile.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide attentive companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping duties, keeping the home clean, organized, and comfortable
- Prepare meals and snacks according to each client’s dietary needs and preferences
- Support clients with daily routines, activities, and personal care as assigned
- Provide attentive, compassionate care for medically fragile adult and pediatric clients as assigned
- Document care provided and communicate any concerns to the office promptly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong attention to detail, especially in housekeeping and meal preparation
- A genuine passion for working with elderly clients and/or medically fragile adult and pediatric clients
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Satisfactory criminal background check and current TB screening
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
- Prior experience supporting medically fragile clients, pediatric or adult
- Experience with home organization, cooking, or meal planning
- Warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor
- Strong communication skills with clients and families
