Job Summary:
The House Supervisor provides direct supervision and administrative support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in one or more residential homes. In partnership with the Assistant Residential Director, the House Supervisor ensures documentation compliance, supports resident care, and helps maintain effective day-to-day operations in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assigned to designated residences.
- Oversees staff scheduling, training, and progressive guidance, completing progressive guidance within five (5) days of discover of issue.
- Manage DSP time-off requests and minimize overtime allocations.
- Coordinates with the Residential and Assistant Residential Directors on staffing needs and performance management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure completion and accuracy of required documentation (e.g., habilitation goals, daily notes, assignment sheets, bed checks, etc.) in Medisked and paper files.
- Prepare Daily Assignment Sheets and coordinate staffing schedules.
- Maintain Communication Logs and ensure DSPs complete Read and Sign documentation.
- Conduct check-in calls to each residence twice per shift and document outcomes.
- Attend weekly Managers’ Meetings, staff meetings, and required training.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of resident monthly activity calendars.
- Ensure thorough onboarding and ongoing training for all DSPs, including site-specific protocols and resident-specific care plans.
- Provide direct care, assist with daily living activities, and support individual care plans as needed.
- Maintain AMAP certification and provide care according to all applicable plans (Behavior Support, Nursing, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:
- Days: Variable
- Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- On Call: approximately 1 week/month
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- AMAP certification required (must be maintained).
- Additional trainings as required by agency and OPWDD.
- Preferred prior experience and knowledge of OPWDD/OWIG regulations.
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with residential documentation and training practices a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to assist residents with daily living skills, including personal care.
- Ability to participate in and supervise community activities and resident outings.
- Ability to transport individuals and perform related physical tasks as needed.
- Capacity to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds intermittently throughout the work shift.
- Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals with varying levels of ability and adapt communication as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
