Cincinnati Cabinets is hiring an experienced Kitchen Designer who can independently design kitchens in 2020 Design and help customers complete their cabinet purchases.
This is not an entry-level design position. Applicants must already be proficient with 2020 Design and capable of creating accurate layouts, elevations, renderings, and cabinet orders without basic software training.
About the Position
You will meet with homeowners in our West Chester showroom, understand their kitchen goals and budget, create complete kitchen designs, present product options, prepare proposals, and help close the sale.
You will be supported by our measurement, ordering, project management, and installation teams.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners for kitchen consultations
- Create complete kitchen designs using 2020 Design
- Produce accurate floor plans, elevations, renderings, and cabinet lists
- Verify cabinet sizes, fillers, panels, moldings, and accessories
- Help customers select cabinets, countertops, hardware, flooring, and finishes
- Prepare proposals based on the customer's design and budget
- Present designs and pricing clearly
- Follow up with open estimates and help close sales
- Prepare accurate cabinet orders
- Maintain complete customer and project information in the CRM
- Coordinate with measurement, ordering, and installation teams
- Identify potential design, measurement, or installation problems before an order is placed
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of hands-on kitchen design experience
- Strong working knowledge of 2020 Design
- Able to independently create complete and accurate kitchen plans
- Experience preparing cabinet orders
- Understanding of cabinet dimensions, fillers, panels, moldings, and installation requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional customer communication
- Comfortable presenting pricing and asking customers for the sale
- Able to work Saturdays
Preferred Qualifications
- Cabinet or kitchen remodeling sales experience
- Experience with countertops, flooring, or related products
- Experience managing projects from design through installation
Compensation
- Base pay: $800 per week
- Commission: 2%-4% of collected sales
- Expected total compensation: $70,000-$100,000 per year, depending on sales performance

- Full-time, in person
- Monday-Friday
- Saturday: 10:00 AM-3:00 PM
