Occupational Therapist
The Quaker School at Horsham (TQS) uses research-based programs delivered by compassionate professionals to empower students with complex challenges to thrive and achieve meaningful personal, social and academic success. Our caring community fosters trusting relationships among students, families, therapists, faculty and staff.
TQS serves students from Kindergarten to age 22. Many of our students have struggled in traditional school settings and come to TQS in need of a safe, supportive learning environment where they can confidently overcome the challenges of learning. Our students present with a range of learning and developmental differences, including ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, expressive and receptive language disorders, and anxiety disorders. At TQS, we use the latest educational research and evidence-based practices to guide instruction, support each student's unique strengths and needs, and nurture their natural curiosity, confidence and love of learning.
The physical, mental and emotional well-being of faculty and staff is of top importance. We provide opportunities for fellowship, goodwill and experiences to create overall positive morale. We share the many positive achievements of our school community, and acknowledge and celebrate the personal and professional milestones within our faculty and staff community.
