We seek qualified EXPERIENCED Roll-Off Drivers with a MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS experience. A or B CDL is required. Local Metro Northeast Atlanta residents encouraged to apply. Please ensure you are able and prepared to drive to our Buford, GA. operations to begin and end your daily schedule.

As an SSR Roll-Off Driver - Field Operations - you are responsible for preparing, securing and the eventual transport of open top and compactor containers to various disposal sites which include landfills, transfer facilities and multiple customer job-site locations, including very busy Downtown/Midtown Atlanta areas working in tight spaces.
Roll-Off Drivers will need to navigate driveways, alleyways, job sites and traffic filled roadways. This may also entail operating in tight environments, backing up long distances such as private driveways as well as heavy industrial and crowded city environments. Our drivers are paid on salary and begin above our competitors pay rates, with generous increases after proven track record, often within just a few months.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle in accordance within SSR, Inc requirements, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act), DOT (Department of Transportation), Safety Rules, as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment
- Report any unsafe situations or service related issues to Lead Driver and or Owner
- Report any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage to Lead Driver and or Owner
- Report service problems, blocked containers, or any potential safety hazards to Lead Driver and or Owner
- Report all containers damaged and in need of repair to Lead Driver and or Owner
- Must attend and participate in all training and safety programs at request of SSR, Inc.
- Communicate with Lead Driver/Owner to improve route production and completion
- Communicate any customer requests to Lead Driver/Owner
- Complete Customer Service Tickets and Landfill tonnage amount as requested

Pay: $260.00 - $330.00 per day
