Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting roofing projects by assisting skilled roofers with various tasks on-site. Responsibilities
- Assist roofers with loading, unloading, and organizing materials such as shingles, metal panels, and other roofing supplies
- Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, safety barriers, and ensuring all tools and equipment are ready for use
- Support the installation of roofing systems, siding,, and related exterior finishes following project plans and schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install materials according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to construction safety harnesses and workplace safety regulations
- Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris, organizing tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Skills
- Basic understanding of construction
- Experience with roofing installation,
- Familiarity with construction safety harnesses and adherence to workplace safety regulations is essential
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) used in construction projects
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following all safety protocols
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
