Come join our Team! Jims Towing is hiring for a Evening or Overnight heavy duty wrecker driver for our Fargo location. Experience is helpful but not needed. Class A CDL Is a Must. Experienced and Non Experienced drivers will need to complete our training processes and be willing to learn new techniques.
We run quality well maintained and newer equipment.
Applicants that meet the following requirements and have a mechanical background or aptitude will be trained to company standards.
Pay Depends on experience and License. Pay will be discussed at the time of the interview. Evening & Overnight Shift Available. Weekday and weekend on call as needed
Tow Truck Operators Responsibilities
- Tow, Transport and Recover heavy Vehicles.
- Drive heavy wreckers, Industrial Flatbeds and Tractor Trailers
- Inspect company vehicles and maintain all equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Interact with customers in a friendly professional manner
- Clean trucks, grease trucks, etc
Tow Truck Operators Qualifications
· MUST HAVE A VALID CLASS A DRIVERS LICENSE and acceptable driving record
· MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST, background check, and DOT physical requirements
· Strong communication skills
· Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills
· Be reliable, dependable, hardworking, and have common sense decision making skills
· clean cut appearance
Pay varies by drivers knowledge & ability. Hourly pay for scheduled work and commission on call. Benefits include but not limited to. Health, Dental, matching simple IRA, Uniforms, phone allowance, PTO.
