We're Looking for an Experienced Lead Server to Drive Service at Wander at Longwoods. Wander at Longwoods is a farm-to-table restaurant and event venue on the 54-acre Longwoods Preserve in Cumberland, Maine. We host everything from intimate dinners to 150-guest weddings and private events - and we need a Lead Server who knows how to step up when the stakes are high. This is a full-time position with open availability required. Events experience is a must.

Pay: $10.00/hr + tips
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of your section and lead by example on the floor
- Guide guests through the dining experience with confidence and genuine warmth
- Know the menu inside and out - ingredients, allergens, pairings, and specials
- Lead service during events including weddings, receptions, and private gatherings - passed appetizers, plated dinners, buffets, and bar support
- Stay sharp on event timelines and cues from the event coordinator
- Support and direct fellow servers during busy shifts and large events
- Assist with event setup and breakdown - linens, tableware, décor, and more
- Communicate proactively with the kitchen and floor manager throughout service
- Handle guest questions and concerns quickly and professionally
What You Bring
- Solid experience in both restaurant and event settings - this is a must
- Confidence leading a team or section without being asked
- Strong multitasking skills and grace under pressure
- Ability to lift and carry trays, stand for extended periods, and work evenings and weekends
- Open availability - events don't follow a predictable schedule
- TIPS certification or willingness to obtain before your first shift
