Job Title: Admissions Officer
Location: 7703 Floyd Curl Dr, San Antonio, TX 78229
Work Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (08AM- 5:00PM)Duration: 3+ months (Possibility of temp to hire)
Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused
Admissions Officer to support student recruitment, admissions coordination, and enrollment activities. This role is responsible for managing admissions-related administrative functions, assisting prospective students and families throughout the application process, and collaborating with academic departments to ensure a seamless admissions experience. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support student recruitment efforts by collaborating with academic program leaders and internal departments.
- Advise prospective students and parents on admissions requirements, application procedures, and enrollment processes.
- Review, evaluate, and process admissions applications using multiple application platforms while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective applicants, current applicants, and admitted students regarding application and matriculation status.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating student recruitment events, campus visits, and information sessions.
- Represent the institution at local and out-of-area recruitment fairs and community outreach events.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with faculty, staff, educational institutions, and community organizations involved in the admissions process.
- Support marketing initiatives through online, print, and social media outreach to promote academic programs.
- Maintain accurate admissions records, reports, and documentation.
- Perform additional administrative and admissions-related duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree required.
Experience
- Up to one (1) year of related experience in admissions, higher education, student services, customer service, or administrative support.
Preferred Certifications & Professional Memberships
- Participation in professional organizations such as:
- Texas Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (TAAHP)
- Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO)

- Familiarity with social media platforms and general office equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Experience reviewing applications, supporting student enrollment, or working in an academic environment is preferred.
- Previous experience participating in recruitment events, student outreach, or admissions processes is a plus.
