We are seeking a personable, motivated Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Our practice opened two years ago and features high end finishes, a modern design and the latest dental technology.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the continued growth of the practice. Duties & Responsibilities
- Chairside assist doctor during endodontic procedures, primarily root canals and surgical treatments, ensuring efficient and smooth patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays), including 3D scans.
- Assist with front desk responsibilities when needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Educate patients on root canal treatment and provide clear post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain proper sterilization and aseptic techniques.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a Dental Assisting program/certification required.
- Familiarity with dental insurance coding and billing procedures.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and obtain vital signs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, professionalism and a team-oriented mindset.
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
