Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, lobbies, and restrooms by performing regular tasks
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting high-touch surfaces and shared spaces
- Assist with basic kitchen duties when needed, including light cooking or food prep for staff or guests
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for all
Qualifications
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and climbing ladders
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols and janitorial equipment such as vacuums and steam cleaners
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning supplies is advantageous
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping management is a plus
