HireTeq Solutions is hiring a Staff Pharmacist for one of our Fortune 500 healthcare clients. This role is responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations, preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring medication safety, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, medication preparation, and dispensing.
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and patient safety.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, purchasing, and medication distribution.
- Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians and nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, medication safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Support medication procurement, storage, and distribution for hospital departments and offsite facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharmacy) required.
- Active Texas Board of Pharmacy license.
- Certification in Aseptic Technique (or ability to obtain within one year of employment).
- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, medication management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and patient care skills.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
