Position: Commercial: Technical Owner’s Rep
Location: Indianapolis, IN / Hybrid
With a growing company, the requirements for our development space are continuously evolving. Therefore, the Construction Manager / Owner’s Representative is a key member of our commercial team and is primarily responsible for supporting the multi-state retail rollout operations of Weihe Engineers. The majority of projects will be in Arizona, Texas, or Indiana at this time.

While reporting to the Vice President of Commercial, you will also work closely with company leadership on expansion projects, contractor coordination, and more. Responsibilities:
· Conduct frequent, independent on-site construction observations across multiple active project sites
· Coordinate bidding as Owner’s Representative for qualified general contractors
· Review and approve contractor pay applications, ensuring billing accurately reflects physical work completed on-site
· Act as the primary on-site Owner’s Representative for national developers their budgets and timelines as your own
· Author and/or review detailed progress reports, evaluate change orders/RFIs, and coordinate between civil engineers, architects, utility providers, and contractors
· Willingness to travel extensively and operate completely autonomously in the field managing a multi-site portfolio
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience
· 8-10+ years of direct experience in construction management, owner's representation, or construction administration
· Previous experience in an architectural, engineering or project-based professional services environment is a plus
· Proven track record in convenience store/fueling station, high-volume retail, QSR, or convenience store/fueling station rollouts is highly preferred
· Comprehensive knowledge of both site/civil infrastructure (grading, utilities) and vertical commercial building construction (architectural, structural, MEP)
· Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize assignments Self-starter with ability to work independently

Compensation and Benefits:
· Compensation is highly commensurate with experience

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
