Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Professional to join our team. The Salesperson is responsible for assisting customers in selecting flooring and window covering products that best meet their needs, budget, and design preferences. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships while achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate flooring products and window coverings.
- Work as outside sales with realtors, builders, and designers
- Prepare accurate estimates, sales orders, and installation instructions.
- Explain product features, benefits, warranties, and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate measurements, installations, and delivery schedules with customers and installation teams.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and pending sales opportunities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of flooring and window covering products, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- Process transactions and maintain accurate customer records.
- Assist with showroom merchandising, product displays, and inventory organization.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; flooring, home improvement, or interior design experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to calculate measurements, square footage, and project estimates.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the showroom for extended periods.
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable mode of transportation for customer interaction.
- Ability to drive/travel locally for customer consultations and site measurements.
- Work Schedule: Tues. – Fri. 8:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. & Sat. 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
