Job Summary
Centerville Family seeking a dedicated and energetic part-time Nanny to provide compassionate support and supervision for a 3 month old infant in Centerville. Comfortable with one parent working from home.
This role offers M-Fr either 10-3pm or 12-5pm Schedule.
We are looking for individuals passionate about nurturing, teaching, and ensuring the safety of children in a caring environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love for working with kids. Your primary focus will be creating a positive, engaging atmosphere while assisting families with daily childcare routines.
Duties
- Supervise and engage child during playtime, learning activities, and daily routines, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Implement basic first aid and CPR procedures promptly in case of emergencies
- Support childs developmental needs through educational activities, play, and caregiving tasks
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians about child‘s well-being and daily activities
- Support nap time routines, meal preparation, diapering, and other childcare responsibilities in accordance with family preferences
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age kids
- Prior nannying or daycare experience caring for multiple children simultaneously
- Knowledge of child supervision techniques and child development principles
- Experience working with infants highly desirable.
- Certified in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in caregiving or teaching are a plus
- Ability to provide personal transportation assistance safely and responsibly
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
