EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Licensed Registered Nurse licensed in Indiana.
- Strong Oncology knowledge.
- Oncology certification preferred – OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, AOCNP and CHPON.
- Minimum two years’ experience caring for cancer patients
- BLS certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent patient assessment skills including assessment of psychosocial issues.
- Knowledge of self care resources and strategies
- Critical thinking skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Basic knowledge of insurance reimbursement systems, financial hardships, and payer coverage
- Working knowledge of national, regional and community resources1
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with members of the healthcare team.
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Word Products.
- Demonstrates a professional, positive, flexible demeanor.
- Resourceful and adaptable to the changing healthcare climate.
- Valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance for travel to various sites.

Schedule: Full-time, Days, 7:30-4:00 M-F
