Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Admissions Coordinator/Closer to join our team; supporting individuals struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. In this pivotal role, you will lead the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment, guiding prospective clients toward programs designed to help them rebuild their lives. Your energetic approach, strong phone sales skills, and excellent communication will drive recruitment efforts, build trust with prospective clients and their families, and close admissions with confidence. You will manage client information systems, maintain compliance with educational and regulatory standards, and collaborate with the team to meet enrollment goals. - Engage prospective clients and their support networks through high-volume phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to provide clear, compassionate information about programs and admissions procedures
- Assist in onboarding new clients by coordinating orientation sessions and supporting administrative tasks related to enrollment
- Manage client data within the client information system (KIPU) and CRM platforms (salesforce ), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance
- Guide applicants through the full admissions process, including application review, document verification, interview scheduling, and enrollment closure
- Collaborate with the team to develop targeted outreach and strategies that effectively reach individuals seeking help for mental health or substance abuse challenges
- Ensure adherence to educational policies, privacy regulations (including HIPAA where applicable), and institutional standards related to admissions and enrollment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, professionally, and with empathy while maintaining a positive experience for prospective clients
- Maintain organized, confidential records of all communications, applications, and documentation
Experience
- Proven phone sales experience with a track record of converting leads
- Experience in admissions, or behavioral health/recovery program enrollment is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency with CRMS, EMRS, for data management and report creation
- Familiarity with client information systems (such as Ellucian) or other CRM platforms used for admissions and sales tracking
- Excellent speaking and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of admissions procedures, compliance standards, and issues related to mental health and substance abuse
- Prior experience coordinating or working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear correspondence and persuasive phone conversations
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion, integrity, and empathy
- Background working directly with individuals in customer service, sales, or support roles that require active listening and problem-solving

Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
