We are one of the kind candy store in Grand Rapids that carry various products.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, providing product knowledge, and assisting with the selection of merchandise. They will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized store, process transactions, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
- Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
- Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
Your work includes but not limited to:
- Check out
- Managing inventory
- Stock shelves
- Basic customer interface in case they have questions
Requirement:
- Able to lift 20 lb occaisionally
- Ability to interact positively with customers
- Basic math and/or accounting skills
- Good Ethics
