The short version
You are the host of the VidPod podcast. You travel to schools across Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, and at each one you sit down with the people who make that school what it is — a teacher, an administrator, a coach, a leader — and record a conversation worth hearing.
You run the whole thing yourself on the VidPod: live-switched, polished, shipped same-day. Roughly five schools a week. Every episode is a story about a school. And every episode is proof of what the VidPod can do in a room that isn’t a studio.
This role is the face of a product we’re scaling across the Southeast — it’s a chance to build something, not just clock in.
What this role actually is
You represent the VidPod. That’s who you are when you walk in. Not a salesperson, not a vendor rep. The host of a show that schools want to be on.
The conversations are mostly one-on-one. You’re not managing a room of students. You’re sitting across from one person who knows something worth saying, and you’re good enough at this to make them comfortable and make them sound great.
The episode you produce does two jobs at once. It honors the person and the school. And it quietly shows every CTE Director who hears it exactly what a VidPod produces, run by one person, anywhere.
You’re not chasing downloads. The show is the proof, not the product. But it has to be good. The production value is the pitch.
What you’ll do
- Work with Sales Operations to build the schedule
- Travel to roughly five scheduled schools a week across GA, AL, and TN, with stops clustered by geography
- Show up to schools that already know you’re coming — warm doors, not cold calls
- Host and record an episode at each stop, usually a one-on-one with a teacher, administrator, coach, or school leader
- Run the full production solo on the VidPod: load in, set up, live-switch, capture, break down, and load back out
- Safely load and unload the VidPod from the provided vehicle at each stop using the onboard supports (ramp, lift)
- Upload and publish each episode, plus any short clips, with minimal editing thanks to live switching
- Capture supporting footage of the VidPod working in a real school setting, which becomes a sales asset for the BD team
- Work with the team at education conferences throughout the year — with summer being the heaviest stretch — to produce content and connect with teachers and administrators
- Leave each visit with the relationship documented: who you met, what matters to them, what their school is working on, so Amitrace can follow up warm
- Hand that intelligence back to BD cleanly and consistently
What we need from you
- You’re a natural interviewer. You make a guest comfortable in two minutes and make them sound like the most interesting person in the building. This is the non-negotiable one.
- You read people and rooms. A teacher who’s nervous on mic relaxes around you.
- You can run a polished, live-switched production solo under real-school conditions: a borrowed room, a short window, whatever space they give you.
- You carry yourself as the VidPod — warm and professional, product-forward, never pushy.
- You’ve spent time in or around schools, enough that educators read you as one of their own.
- You can write a clean, useful visit note — the few things BD needs to walk back through that door warm.
- You’re ready for regular physical work. Loading and unloading the VidPod with its ramp and lift system, every stop, every day.
- You’re comfortable with regular regional travel across three states.
- Valid license and clean driving record.

- Relationship left behind — measured by how warm the BD follow-up is
