Hiring Early Childhood and Elementary Teachers!
Part-Time (Monday-Friday): Afternoons

The ideal candidates for these positions would be energetic and capable teachers who are excited about elementary school education. The teachers will demonstrate the ability to teach a variety of different types of learners, a willingness to collaborate with a community of educators, and the ability to make a strong contribution to a growing school system.

- Ability to develop self-motivated learners and cultivate students' talents
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Create classroom routines and procedures to ensure safe and orderly instruction, following the school's Positive Behavioral Policies
- Maintain the classroom's cleanliness and orderliness on a daily basis, and help students with organization and executive functioning
- Be responsible for the good condition and adequate supply for materials and resources for the classroom
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and learning
- Utilize a variety of differentiated instructional techniques and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and the school administration to support student development and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and other relevant information
- Use data to drive instructional goals and provide students with individual support
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and events
- Uphold the school’s policies, procedures, and values in all interactions with students, parents, and staff
- Ensure student safety.
- Guide and support assistant teachers and aides, if applicable
- Update the bulletin boards monthly to reflect student learning
- Set up the classroom in the beginning of the year and pack up the classroom at the end of the year
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate or Seminary degree required, Master's degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience teaching in a Jewish day school, or other comparable experience preferred, not required
Pay: $25,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
